Lou first sensed God's call to ministry at the age of twelve and preached her first sermon when she was sixteen.

Professionally, Lou has a background in mental health and was training to become a psychologist. She holds a degree in Psychology and Counselling and continues to have a deep passion for mental health and emotional wellbeing. She is passionate about equipping the Church to better understand mental health and believes that churches can play a vital role in supporting individuals and families through life's challenges.
In 2024, Lou took the next step in responding to God's call by formally exploring ministry and is currently in her second year of the TLC programme, training towards becoming a locally recognised minister. She is passionate about helping people discover God's love, grow in faith, and find hope and purpose in every season of life.

Lou is married to Martin and has a teenage son.
